(highlight-changes-mode): Removed references to hooks that no longer exist.
Because define-minor-mode is used the hook highlight-changes-mode-hook exists
and can do what both the old hooks used to do. The documentation at the top
of the file was updated to demonstrate this.
(highlight-changes-mode): Remove commented out call to a hook function that
is no longer there.
(hilit-chg-set): Remove running of highlight-changes-enable-hook.

1 This directory contains source code for the parts of Emacs that are

2 written in Emacs Lisp. *.el files are Emacs Lisp source, and the
|
|
|
3 corresponding *.elc files are byte-compiled versions. Byte-compiled
|
|
|
4 files are architecture-independent.

6 The term subdirectory contains Lisp files that customize Emacs for
|
|
|
7 certain terminal types. When Emacs starts, it checks the TERM
|
|
|
8 environment variable to get the terminal type and loads
|
|

9 `term/${TERM}.el' if it exists.

11 The other subdirectories hold Lisp packages grouped by their general

12 purpose.
