(SINGLE_BYTE_CHAR_P): Make it faster by using casting.
(CHARSET_ISO_GRAPHIC_PLANE): Use XINT instead of XFASTINT.
(CHARSET_REVERSE_CHARSET): Likewise.
(CHARSET_VALID_P): Handle new charsets; eight-bit-control and
eight-bit-graphic.
(BYTES_BY_CHAR_HEAD, WIDTH_BY_CHAR_HEAD): Optimize for ASCII.
(CHAR_CHARSET, MAKE_CHAR, SPLIT_CHAR, CHAR_BYTES): Likewise.
(PARSE_MULTIBYTE_SEQ) [BYTE_COMBINING_DEBUG]: Abort if we
encounter an invalid multibyte sequence.
(PARSE_MULTIBYTE_SEQ) [not BYTE_COMBINING_DEBUG]: Assume multibyte
sequence is always valid.
(MAKE_NON_ASCII_CHAR, SPLIT_NON_ASCII_CHAR): These macros Deleted.
(UNIBYTE_STR_AS_MULTIBYTE_P, MULTIBYTE_STR_AS_UNIBYTE_P): New
macros.
(CHAR_STRING): For 8-bit characters, call char_to_string.
(INC_POS) [not BYTE_COMBINING_DEBUG]: Faster version. Assume
multibyte sequence is always valid.

25920 | 1 This directory contains LEIM files. |
2 LEIM stands for Libraries of Emacs Input Methods.
3 | |
4 Contents of subdirectories are as follows.
5 | |
6 CXTERM-DIC: | |
7 | |
8 This directory contains source dictionaries (TIT format) for Chinese
9 input method distribued with cxterm (Chinese version xterm). These
10 dictionaries are automatically converted to Quail packages (Emacs Lisp
11 source file) by `make'.
12 | |

14 | |
15 This directory contains Emacs Lisp source files for Quail packages.
16 | |
17 SKK-DIC: | |
18 | |
19 This directory contains source dictionary for Japanese input method
20 distributed with SKK (Japanese input method run with Mule). But, you
21 don't need this file because we distribute an Emacs Lisp source file
22 skk/skkdic.el which has already been converted from the source
23 dictionary (See below).
24 | |
25 skk: | |
26 | |
27 This directory contains Emacs Lisp source file skkdic.el which is
28 generated from a source dictionary in SKK-DIC directory. In addtion,
29 it contains a byte compiled file skkdic.elc for users convenience
30 because it takes rather long time to byte-compile skkdic.el. |
