Change all uses of win95, winnt, and win32 into Windows 95, Windows NT, and W32, respectively. Expand "win" substring in variables referring to Microsoft Windows constructs into "windows". Canonicalize header comments to use same terminology.

2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>

1053 of @code{defun}. An inline function works just like an ordinary
2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>

1054 function except for one thing: when you compile a call to the function,
2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>

1057 Making a function inline makes explicit calls run faster. But it also
2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>
parents:
diff changeset
1058 has disadvantages. For one thing, it reduces flexibility; if you change
2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>
parents:
diff changeset
1059 the definition of the function, calls already inlined still use the old
2fc99253fb65 Initial revision

2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
Karl Heuer <kwzh@gnu.org>

1061 redefining functions is an important feature of Emacs, you should not

2fc99253fb65 Initial revision

2fc99253fb65 Initial revision

1065 the size of compiled code both in files and in memory. Since the speed

2fc99253fb65 Initial revision
