(lisptagsfiles): Look at subdirs only if name
starts with a letter.
(dontcompilefiles): Don't compile latin-5.el.
(updates): Reject subdirs whose names start with =.
(custom-deps, finder-data, autoloads, update-subdirs): Likewise.
