Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
Use AC_EGREP_CPP to check if the C preprocessor converts `..' to `. .'. If it converts, set CPP_NEED_TRADITIONAL to `yes'. Later in AC_OUTPUT, check this variable.
