* simple.el (line-move-visual): New var. (line-move-visual): New function. (line-move): Call line-move-visual. (line-move-visual): Obey goal-column and no-error arg. (track-eol, temporary-goal-column): Update docstring. (move-end-of-line, move-beginning-of-line): Bind line-move-visual to nil.

apparently there was a big discussion on emacs-devel wrt trailing whitespace.
there was a mass-change to remove such from various branches in cvs.  probably
it's a good idea to avoid adding trailing whitespace in new code/docs and in
changes.
