Use autoconf determined WORDS_BIGENDIAN instead of hardcoded definition.
* m/alpha.h: Don't define/undef WORDS_BIG_ENDIAN.

* fringe.c (init_fringe_bitmap): Test WORDS_BIGENDIAN instead of
