(hi-lock-find-patterns): Protect also against invalid values for the pattern lists which are `read'able but not `append'able (like symbols).

This directory contains the source code for the architecture-dependent
files that go in ${archlibdir}.  At present, these are mostly utility
programs used by Emacs.
