Remove Emacs 21 stuff. mailcap.el (mailcap-parse-mailcap, mailcap-parse-mimetypes) mm-util.el (mm-decompress-buffer) nnir.el (nnir-run-find-grep) pop3.el (pop3-list): Use 3rd arg of split-string.
