Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
* modes.texi (Hooks): Clarify. (Major Mode Basics): Mention define-derived-mode explicitly. (Major Mode Conventions): Rebinding RET is OK for some modes. Mention change-major-mode-hook and after-change-major-mode-hook. (Example Major Modes): Moved to end of Modes section. (Mode Line Basics): Clarify. (Mode Line Data): Mention help-echo and local-map in strings. Explain reason for treatment of non-risky variables. (Properties in Mode): Clarify. (Faces for Font Lock): Add font-lock-negation-char-face.

This directory contains source code for the parts of Emacs that are
written in Emacs Lisp.  *.el files are Emacs Lisp source, and the
corresponding *.elc files are byte-compiled versions.  Byte-compiled
files are architecture-independent.

The term subdirectory contains Lisp files that customize Emacs for
certain terminal types.  When Emacs starts, it checks the TERM
environment variable to get the terminal type and loads
`term/${TERM}.el' if it exists.

The other subdirectories hold Lisp packages grouped by their general
purpose.
