Don't gcpro it after the last use. (Fswitch_to_buffer, Fpop_to_buffer): Rename arg bufname to buffer. (Fset_buffer): Likewise, and rename local buffer to buf. (reset_buffer, init_buffer_once): Delete code that touches redisplay_end_trigger field in buffer. diff -r e4e1091af4d7 -r 71c14edf7d6d src/buffer.c --- a/src/buffer.c Thu Dec 21 16:54:34 1995 +0000 +++ b/src/buffer.c Thu Dec 21 16:55:39 1995 +0000 @@ -456,7 +456,6 @@ b->mark_active = Qnil; b->point_before_scroll = Qnil; b->file_format = Qnil; - b->redisplay_end_trigger = Qnil; b->extra1 = Qnil; b->extra2 = Qnil; b->extra3 = Qnil; @@ -910,8 +909,8 @@ when the hook functions are called.\n\n\ Any processes that have this buffer as the `process-buffer' are killed\n\ with `delete-process'.") - (bufname) - Lisp_Object bufname; + (buffer) + Lisp_Object buffer; { Lisp_Object buf; register struct buffer *b; @@ -919,12 +918,12 @@ register struct Lisp_Marker *m; struct gcpro gcpro1, gcpro2; - if (NILP (bufname)) + if (NILP (buffer)) buf = Fcurrent_buffer (); else - buf = Fget_buffer (bufname); + buf = Fget_buffer (buffer); if (NILP (buf)) - nsberror (bufname); + nsberror (buffer); b = XBUFFER (buf); @@ -936,7 +935,7 @@ if (INTERACTIVE && !NILP (b->filename) && BUF_MODIFF (b) > BUF_SAVE_MODIFF (b)) { - GCPRO2 (buf, bufname); + GCPRO1 (buf); tem = do_yes_or_no_p (format1 ("Buffer %s modified; kill anyway?
