(compile-after-backup): Renamed from `compile'.
Use `compile-always'.
(bootstrap): Use `compile', not `compile-files'. Use `update-subdirs'.
(compile): Renamed from `compile-files'.
(compile-CMD, compile-SH): Renamed from `compile-files-*'.
