<H1>8.2 Full Screen</H1>
<P>GQview allows for the image pane to be expanded to fill the entire
screen, this is referred to as full screen.</P>
<P><BR><BR>

<P><U>Turning on full screen</U></P>
<P>Full screen can be activated in a number of ways:</P>
<UL>
	<LI><P>From the menu bar - open the <B>View</B> menu and select <B>Full
	screen</B>.</P>
	<LI><P STYLE="font-weight: medium">From the keyboard - press the <B>F</B>
	key to toggle full screen.</P>
	<LI><P STYLE="font-weight: medium">From a context menu - right click
	an image pane, and select <B>Full screen</B>.</P>

<P STYLE="font-weight: medium"><U>Turning off full screen</U></P>
<P STYLE="font-weight: medium">To return to the normal view:</P>

	<LI><P STYLE="font-weight: medium">From the keyboard - press the <B>F</B>
	or [<B>Escape</B>] key to stop full screen.</P>
	<LI><P STYLE="font-weight: medium">From a context menu - right click
	the image pane, and select <B>Exit full screen</B>.</P>
	<LI><P STYLE="font-weight: medium">From the menu bar - the menu bar
	may be visible when using multiple monitors, open the <B>View</B>
	menu and select <B>Full screen</B>.</P>

<P STYLE="font-weight: medium"><U>Configuring full screen</U></P>
<P>Full screen behavior and location can be adjusted on the <A HREF="10_6_advanced.html">Advanced
tab</A> of the preferences dialog.</P>
<P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Size and location</B>: This can be
changed using <B>Full screen size</B> option, this can be used to
select the monitor to use in a multiple monitor configuration.</P>
<P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Smooth image flip in full screen</B>:
This option delays the image change until the next image is entirely
decoded into memory, the result is a smoother transition between
images.</P>
<P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Disable screen saver in full
screen</B>: This option will execute <I>xscreensaver-command
--deactivate</I> once per minute to avoid the screen saver from
activating.</P>
