I'm really going to try to release Tuesday night. I'm going to try to confirm that we still build on windows... but if anyone else wants to test it, that would be good, too

it does not print the return value.

This shell script just invokes dbus-send, see man dbus-send for how
to specify the parameters.

   $0 PurpleCoreQuit

Use dbus-viewer to get the list of supported functions and their parameters.
