| 32 <P>An image window is a window that displays only the image.</P> | |
| 33 <P>An image window can always be opened from the context menu of all | |
| 34 images and files. Keyboard shortcuts exist for most windows that | |
| 35 display images or files, however the shortcut can vary dependent on | |
| 36 the type of window containing them.</P> | |

| 39 <P>The image pane contained in an image window behaves and operates | |
| 40 similar to the image pane of a <A HREF="2_6_image_pane.html">Main | |
| 41 Window</A>. The keyboard shortcuts are the same, and the context menu | |
| 42 is the same except “Hide file list” is replaced by “Close | |
| 43 window”. The <A HREF="8_1_slideshow.html">slide show</A> and | |
| 44 <A HREF="8_2_fillscreen.html">full screen</A> functions are also | |

| 48 <P><U>Navigation</U></P> | |
| 49 <P>When the image window contains a list of images or is linked to a | |
| 50 collection, the displayed image can be changed forward or backward in | |
| 51 the list with the respective PageDown and PageUp keys. In addition, | |
| 52 all navigation methods for the mouse and keyboard are similar to that | |
| 53 of the image pane of a <A HREF="2_6_image_pane.html">Main Window</A>.</P> | |

| 56 <P><U>Changing the image</U></P> | |
| 57 <P>To change the contents of an image window, drop the items onto the | |
| 58 window with drag and drop. The dropped item can be one or more files, | |
| 59 folders, or an image from a collection window:</P> | |
| 60 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in">One or more <B>files</B>: The image | |
| 61 window will display the first image; the list of dropped images can | |
| 62 be navigated similar to a main window's image pane.</P> | |
| 63 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in">One or more <B>folders</B>: When the | |
| 64 dropped list of items includes a folder, a menu will appear allowing | |
| 65 to skip the folders, add their contents, or add their contents | |
| 66 recursively. After choosing from the menu the requested files will be | |
| 67 added to the image window.</P> | |
| 68 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in">Image from a <B>collection</B>: The | |
| 69 image window will change to display the image and become linked to | |
| 70 the collection containing the image. Images in the collection can | |
| 71 then be navigated and viewed from the image window.</P> | |
| 72 <P>Changing the image window by dropping a new item onto it will | |
| 73 cause the previous list of images or linked collection to be | |
| 74 discarded.</P> | |

| 81 off by pressing the I key. This overlay displays the image file name, | |

| 83 and of all images contained by the window are also displayed in | |
| 84 parenthesis. When the window is linked to a collection, the | |
| 85 collection title will also appear in the overlay in italics above the | |
