  - test the new features
  - large scale bugfixes allowed
  - improve and fix English texts
  - work on sample external scripts

2. release 1.0beta2 - string freeze
  - update translations
  - testing, bugfixes
  - wait for Exiv2 0.19 release
  - finish sample external scripts
  
3. release 1.0beta3 - everything should work
  - finish documentation
